For all seasons

We might all look forward to summer after a long winter and underwhelming spring, but let’s be honest, autumn is the best season of the year. The colours are beautiful, the nights are bearable and the weather is just as changeable.

But by the time evening comes, with a chill in the air, there is very little as relaxing and rewarding than lighting a log fire and settling down at the end of the day. From the wholesome warmth to the smell and the crackle, a fire really does provide the perfect autumnal atmosphere.

And in this energy-aware age, wood sourced sustainably or burning a log fire is a carbon neutral process, so it is good for the environment and cheaper on your pocket. Dry timber firewood is clean burning, so the atmosphere won’t be polluted when it is burned.

TR33 provides ground maintenance and tree surgery services all over South Wales and, as a result, we are left with a surplus of wood as a byproduct of our everyday activities. By recycling the best and most suitable of this byproduct as firewood, it means less wood is going to waste and, ultimately, won’t end up in a landfill.

If you have a wood burner or fireplace, or if you are thinking of installing one, they really are excellent heating sources for homes and can significantly reduce your monthly energy bills as a result. And don’t we all just want to do our small part to help the environment?

Your home is more than just a base where you sleep, wake-up and leave in the morning. It’s where memories are made, and it’s where you feel most comfortable and safe. Log fires make for more comfortable homes, not just by physically heating it, but emotionally too, providing a more relaxing atmosphere.

Fireplaces needn’t be constrained to indoors either. An outdoor fireplace makes for a wonderful feature that allows you to enjoy your outside space throughout the year. If you truly take pride in your garden and work hard to keep it looking special, you don’t have to miss out on enjoying it during the colder months.
