Tree Condition Survey

Tree condition surveys advise on any work, or other actions, which may be required to discharge of the duty of care to manage the risk from trees. The survey will also include non-risk good management recommendations such as pruning to achieve clearance above footways. These are non-intrusive surveys carried out from ground level only however, aerial inspections of trees can be provided where required.

Development & Planning Application Reports

From feasibility to move in day, we can provide support to not only meet the planning application validation requirements but contribute to the design and construction process through to discharge of planning conditions. With a focus on pragmatic guidance, we can work as part of your team whether it’s an extension in your garden or a commercial scale large development.

Homebuyer Reports

Our Homebuyer’s Tree Report will include an assessment of the risk posed by trees within the site where it relates to buildings and other substantial structures. It also provides more general guidance on the management of trees including specific recommendations for mitigatory work where this is required for reasons of health and safety. These reports are typically used to inform a property purchase or mortgage application.
Woodland and Tree Management Plans
If you have woodlands, multiple or high value trees or large tree populations within your care, we provide condition surveys, remedial works specifications and management plans to ensure the long-term retention of these features with a focus on conservation biodiversity and amenity value. We have a number of trusted ecologists that we work with to ensure a comprehensive service.

Neil

Hi, I’ve worked with trees and woodland since the start of my National Trust Apprenticeship in 1996. Since then, I’ve worked as, a tree surgeon, a tree officer and before coming to TR33, I was head of Arboriculture at one of the UK’s largest Environmental consultancy departments within WSP UK. I was recently elected to be Vice Chair for the board of Trustees at our industry body, the Arboricultural Association.

John

Hello, I’ve worked with Neil for roughly nine years now, we built the consultancy team at WSP together working on some of the UK’s largest and high-profile construction projects alongside more routine surveys in development and local authority support. Before that I had also worked as a tree officer and an arboriculture consultant for Highways England.
